Spring flowering with violet and purple tinged foliage. The Acacia baileyana Purpurea is an attractive, evergreen tree with bluish-grey leaves. The new purple-tinged growth has an almost metallic sheen that appears to shimmer in the sunlight, making a fantastic contrast with the frothy-looking yellow flowers in early spring.
