Adiantum
 

Adiantum ferns are a genus of 200/250 species of evergreen and deciduous ferns. They are mainly found in North and South America but are also found in temperate regions of Europe, Asia and Australia. Most Adiantum ferns grow at woodland margins, shady rock crevices or stream-sides. In cultivation Adiantum ferns are grow for their elegant foliage. Derived from the Greek words for “not wetting”, this genus of fern is able to easily shake off water.
