Large, globular clusters of starry violet-purple flowers with strap shaped grey-green leaves on strong tall stems. The enormous flowerheads of the Allium Globemaster, up to 15cm in diameter, look great in containers or in a sunny border. The Ornamental Onion makes an ideal cut flower, strongly scented of honey and adored by bees.
