The huge, showy leaves turn from apple-green-veined silver to pure shimmering silver as the season progresses. They are topped by masses of starry little forget-me-knot blue flowers, from mid to late spring. Plant  Brunnera Looking glass in amongst hostas and ferns to make a great contrast. Preferring moist, humus rich, well-drained soil in a shady area.
