A very attractive tree, the Flowering Dogwood is ideal for the medium sized garden. The branches on the lower half of the crown grow in a tiered habit, those in the upper half are more upright. Cornus florida Royal Red boasts large pink flowers in the spring which are perfect for adding intense colour to a garden. In autumn, the green foliage becomes an eye-catching shade of red with clusters of deep red berries that birds simply love.
