Jasminum

More commonly known as jasmine, there are around 200 different varieties of this highly attractive sweet-smelling, flowering climbing plant. Some are shrubs, while others are vines – in fact, the jasminum genus is related to the olive family. Whether vine or shrub, all varieties of jasminum can be trained to grow as a bush, and generally grow into magnificently lush specimens, with the added delight of night flowering – making evenings spent in a garden with jasmine plants particularly rewarding.
