A deciduous vine used for fruit, wine and shade. Vitis Pinot Noir produces a pleasant eating grape and is the main constituent of Champagne and Burgundy wines. A single grapevine produces enough new growth each year to arch a walkway, or shade over a pergola or terrace. Prune Vitis Pinot Noir regularly and train carefully.
