Exotic-looking, fragrant, large white flowers, Passiflora caerulea Constance Elliott makes a beautiful alternative to the common passion flower. Making rapid annual growth each year and as they cling with tendrils the plants won't damage brickwork or fences, but need suitable supports to grow on. Constance Elliott is in flowers from mid-to late summer and after a warm summer, it is not unusual to find large orange-yellow fruits forming. The fruit can be left on the plants for decoration, they are edible but lack flavour.
