Astelia banksii is a dramatic, silver and green foliage plant with a dense, clumping habit, originally from the beaches of New Zealand. Astelia banksii looks stunning in the foreground of plants with a bold green foliage, or plant in a container, where this very undemanding plant can be left in the same pot for years.
Grow the Shore Astelia in either sun or shade, but most silvery in the shade. An ideal coastal plant very tolerant of dry conditions.
