Lovely, semi-evergreen Abelia from Central China, cultivated for their attractive foliage and profusion of flowers. The arching branches of the Abelia engleriana bear clusters of scented, large deep pink flowers with a gold throat. Blooming in late summer, plant this Abelia in well drained soil in a sheltered, sunny position.
