'Beni Maiko' or 'Red Haired Dancing Girl', an ideal Acer for creating a Japanese theme anywhere in your garden. A compact, slow-growing Japanese Maple, with irregular wrinkled foliage, brilliant fire red in spring fading to pinkish-red and green later.

The semi dwarf habit of the Acer palmatum Beni Maiko makes it ideal for a large patio container or border.
