A graceful, shrub with intensely fragrant lilac flowers found growing wild in chinese hedgerows. The long, slender wands of lilac on this Butterfly Bush produce an explosion of colour. Buddleja alternifolia is excellent trained as a specimen plant, used as a miniature weeping willow or leave in its natural form. Blooming on the previous years growth, Buddleia alterifolia is a 'must have' shrub for butterfly lovers.
