One of the most popular bottlebrush cultivars, named to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Captain Cook's discovery off the east coast of Australia in 1770. A dense, bushy shrub with an attractive weeping habit. Callistemon viminalis Captain Cook has bright red bottlebrush flowers up to 20cms long which hang from the pendulous branches. The weeping bottlebrush will form a wide rounded crown if the lower branches are pruned off.
