The Katsura is an unusual, easy to grow tree, found growing in the wild in China and Japan. Producing beautiful, heart-shaped leaves that turn from a lush green in spring and summer to wonderful shades of yellow, purple and red in autumn. The dying leaves emit a powerful and pleasant fragrance of caramelised toffee.

Plant Cercidiphyllum japonicum in moist but well drained, acidic soils.  The Katsura Tree is very hardy but vulnerable to late spring frosts when young but should recover well. Shelter from strong winds.

Supplied in a 5/7.5lt pot.
