Native to Argentina and Chile this evergreen tree has mildly fragrant, white flowers with yellow centres, borne on clusters at the tip of the branches. The leathery leaves of the Winter's Bark have a peppery smell when crushed.
Natives recommended a tea made of the
bark of this plant to cure Captain Winter's stomach problems, when he
was on expedition for Sir Francis Drake. The tea of this newly
discovered plant cured his ailment, hence the name.
Suppied in a 15litre pot.
