A delightful ornamental medium sized, thornless tree with bright, ruby-red leaves turning a greeny-bronze in summer. The Honey Locust is ideal for streets, avenues and paved areas and tolerates atmospheric pollution well. With upright, columnar habit, the dark red foliage of the Gleditsia triacanthos Ruby Lace foliage turns bronze as it matures.

Gleditsia will thrive in a wide range of soil types and climates.

Plant in fertile, well drained soil.
