A sturdy old variety, introduced in 1938, on alkaline soil produces reddish-pink flower heads, and on acid soils, blue ones. Whichever your soil, this Hydrangea will produces rounded heads with tightly-packed blossoms, looking pillowy and bright.  The mophead flowers of the Hydrangea macrophylla King George will discolour beautifully in Autumn. 

Supplied in a 3litre pot.
