Beautiful, fragrant star shaped, pale lilac-pink flowers before and after the narrow, mid-green leaves appear. The Magnolia Leonard Messel can be either a large shrub or small tree making it ideal for the smaller garden.

Magnolias enjoy humus rich, well drained soil and prefers a sunny position.
