A lovely, architectural shrub with handsome, dark glossy leaves creating year round interest. An upright, evergreen shrub with slender spikes of fragrant, yellow flowers appearing from November to March. The flowers of the Mahonia x media Charity, similar to the Lily of the Valley, are followed by highly ornamental, round deep purple berries.
A very effective shrub for a shady spot, ideal in a woodland setting.
